It is November 11, 2023, and the Satellite Image Processing Laboratory and the Federal University of Alagoas have detected that the Brazilian northeast has areas of desert. Thus the semi-arid is becoming arid. And this region is next to the Amazon, which has regions that are in a major regional drought. This indicates that the territory is heading towards desert areas, which show the consequences of climate change caused by human destruction. What could happen is that people from these regions migrate to others that are less dry, and areas that used to be planted cease to be, damaging agriculture. What we are seeing is the destructive path in Brazil, caused by fires, lack of conservation, and human greed, which destroys nature for the profits of the capitalist system.
