Heavenly Music

Sing praises to the LORD with the harp; with the harp and the singing voice. Psalm 98: 5

When you are going to sing a song to praise God, how is the choice usually made?
We heard a music CD with various styles and rhythms that has the name of god, the one that is "coolest" for those who listen, is the chosen song.
When it is the woman who chooses, she looks for a romantic or slow song that touches her feelings that makes her emotional. The man, on the other hand, wants a more agitated music, with drums, which gives courage to show the potential of his voice, even makes a face to give the high or low note to demonstrate his voice.
The songs that are sung, today in churches ... even the old people who are kind of deaf, are bothered by the noise and noise of the songs, it is even necessary to ask to lower the sound because the noise has disturbed the faithful and the elderly, is not true?
Is it this kind of music that pleases God or pleases ourselves? Could it be that the songs we are singing have reached the throne as a sweet smell or as a strange fire on the Lord's altar? Let us see what God says:
Keep the noise of your songs from me, for I will not hear the melodies of your lyre. Amos 5:23
What does the noise of your songs mean?
The Meaning of Estrépito is Loud noise, bang, noise, Rumor, agitation, turmoil, others define it as noise and noise.
that's right, God is saying to keep the noise, noise and crashes of our songs from Him, because He will not hear the melody of our instruments.
Liras: Stringed musical instrument, shaped like an U, whose arms are connected by a bar to which the upper ends of the strings are attached. Its origin dates back to the beginnings of history.
The songs we have heard in our churches have been loud, high-pitched, and rhythmic, songs of various styles are sung such as: rock, romantic rock, rapp, jazz, country music, Pop music, Brazilian popular music, tango, axé, bossa nova, havy metal, forró, reggae, funk, punk, dance and many other styles and rhythms. Each song has its effect on the people in the congregation.
Once they experimented with cows, they put on various types of music for them to hear, the cows gave more milk when they listened to classical music for a period. Just as music has an effect on animal behavior, it will also have an effect on human behavior, can cause restlessness, restlessness, conversation, numbness, irritation, excitement ...
So it has been in the congregations instead of bringing peace, reverence, solemnity , the fear, the trembling and the celestial atmosphere, ends up generating, irritation, restlessness, irreverence, conversations, numbness and sometimes excitement. These praises have been like filthy and profane offerings stained and tainted, profane because they mix the name of God who is HOLY, HOLY, HOLY with worldly styles.
Holy means separate, the name of God must be separated from the things of the world.
God asks: ... what fellowship does light have with darkness? 2Co 6:14
Let us look at the example: the pagoda has its origin in African religions such as candomblé and umbanda.
So when you mix the name of God or Christ with styles of the world and sing to praise God, God says:
What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? or what part does the believer have with the unbeliever? 2Co 6:15
And what agreement does the sanctuary of God have with idols? .2Co 6:16
What God wants us to do: Therefore, go out from among them and separate, saith the Lord; and do not touch unclean things, and I will receive you; 2Co 6:17
God wants us to separate ourselves from the customs of the world, God wants us to be holy, separate and not participate in any worldly custom whether it be music, food, entertainment, or indecent clothing, or wearing jewelry, ...

1Pe 3: 3 Your adornment is not the outer garment, like the braids of hair, the use of gold jewelry, or the luxury of dresses,

whether it be greed, greed, lies, enmity, strife, backbiting, deceit and corruption ...
1Pe 1:15 but, as the one who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your proceedings;

1Pe 1:16 for it is written, Ye shall be holy, for I am holy.

Our life has to be holy, set apart for God, as God says:

1Pe 2:9

But you are the chosen generation, the royal priesthood, the holy nation, the acquired people, so that you may announce the greatness of him who has called you from darkness to his wonderful light;

If I participate in the things of the world, as I will be holy, holy does not mean perfect but separate, God wants us to be separated to announce the greatness of God, which is right for those who do not know.

So God wants us to be holy by praising Him, He will accept a holy praise, separate from what the world uses for songs and praises, those who sing shouted songs, raising their voices, with noises of instruments that take away the solemnity and reverence are had like a strange fire on the altar of the Lord.
And in the past whoever offered strange fire to the Lord were struck, see:
Now Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, each took their censer and, putting fire on them and pouring incense on them, offered strange fire before the Lord, the that he hadn't ordered them. Lev 10: 1
But Nadab and Abihu died before the Lord, when they offered strange fire before the Lord in the desert of Sinai, and had no children; ... in a 3: 4
Have you ever thought of singing a pagoda with the name of God inside the Shrine in the past? If we were at that time, would we have been fulminated when we sang like Nadabi and Abiú?
When we sing these styles of music, we do not honor God, but Satan, he is the one who inspires men to desecrate the name of God by singing songs with worldly styles and using the name of God.
That is why when we sing agitated songs, with drumming and shouting, with noises and noises, we are offering tainted offerings to God and desecrating the Lord's altar.
God: His priests violate my law, and they profane my holy things; they make no difference between the holy and the profane, nor do they teach how to discern between the impure and the pure; ... and so I am desecrated in their midst. Eze 22:26
You offer unholy bread on my altar, and say, In what have we profaned you? In this you think, that the Lord's table is despicable. Mal 1: 7
As God is pure and holy, and will not accept anything tainted in himself, He refuses this expensive, unkempt and profane sacrifice; ... Counsels on Health, p. 83.
Let's see, would any angel in heaven sing samba, pagode, jazz, reggae, romantic rock in praise of God?
So my beloved ones, if angels don't do it why would we? Let us be holy as the Lord asks of us, separating ourselves from the unclean and unclean things of this world.
Then God says:
And my people will be taught to distinguish between the holy and the profane, and will make them discern between the impure and the pure.Eze 44:23.
When God gave the Commandments to Moses, the people trembled and feared hearing the thunder, Exo 20:18
Now all the people were witnessing the thunder, and the lightning, and the sound of the horn, and the mountain smoking; and when the people saw it, they shuddered and went away.
Exo 20:19 And they said to Moses, Speak to us yourself, and we will listen; but do not speak God with us, lest we die.
Exo 20:20 Moses replied to the people, Do not be afraid, because God has come to test you, and that his fear may be before you, that you may not sin.
Exo 20:21 So the people were standing from afar; Moses, however, came into the thick darkness where God was.
When they worshiped God, the people feared and trembled, reverently worshiped the Lord and with solemnity they gathered together at Mount Sinai.
it is this solemnity, reverence and fear with the Eternal Father that we should have when praising and worshiping him.
Beloved, music that praises God is very different from music with modern styles. Look at the music that the Hebrew people sang.
In ancient times, among the Hebrew people, few knew how to read and write, for this reason they would have to use an efficient method to pass on the children the commandments of God, so God said to the people of Israel: Hear, Israel, the LORD our God he is the only LORD.
You will therefore love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.
And these words, which I command you today, will be in your heart; And you will teach them to your children and speak of them while seated in your house, and walking along the path, and lying down and getting up. Deut 6: 4-7
So the Hebrews did this to obey God's order, they sang the monophonic song called cantochon, you may never have heard of cantochon, it is old, but it still uses this style, see histori: a:
The lyrics of the chant were the Word of God sung, letters were not invented as they today exalt the self, but were inspired by the Spirit of God, exalting God Himself.
To fulfill God's order, the Hebrews taught their children through songs similar to this style, singing the verses of the Holy Scriptures, the Law, and so the children learned the songs and repeated until they memorized the Holy Words, which at that time it was the Torah, the first five books of the Bible, the Pentateuch, interesting that this method that they used not only passed on the knowledge, but inculcated in the small minds and young people the divine Wisdom and the Sacred Letters.
Many lived in other cities and came to worship God in Jerusalem, between one city and another they were long distances, so the patriarchs came together in songs, along the way, and sang like a choir that other people heard in the distance, and recognized that it was God's people singing. The trip to Jerusalem, in that simple, patriarchal way, amidst the beauties of spring, the splendor of summer, or the glory of a mature autumn, was a delight. With gratitude offerings they came, from the white-haired man to the little child, to meet God in His holy dwelling. As they traveled, the experiences of the past, the stories that both old and young still love so much, were told to Hebrew children again. The songs that had encouraged them on their pilgrimage in the desert were sung.
We know that cantochon is a very different style and unknown to many, today, monks still use this style, it is like Gregorian chant. For those who have already entered a monastery, had the pleasure of hearing those background songs they had the great privilege of feeling the peace, the solemnity, the reverence and comfort for the soul of those who hear.
Heavenly angels sing their praise in adoration of the Eternal Father and Jesus Christ with hymns similar to the chant, and their praises fill the whole sky and the celestial pumpkin with soft chords and melodies, they do not sing praises by shaking, dancing or shouting , but with solemnity, reverence and fear for the Eternal.
See Ellen White's vision:
I was shown the order, the perfect order of Heaven, and I felt overwhelmed to hear the perfect music there. After leaving the vision, the song here sounded very harsh and dissonant. I saw groups of angels that were arranged in a square, each with a golden harp. At the lower end of it was a device for turning, fixing the harp, or changing tones. His fingers did not run carelessly over the strings, but they did vibrate different strings to produce different chords. There is an angel who always directs, who first plays the harp in order to set the tone, then everyone joins in the majestic and perfect music of Heaven. It is indescribable. it is heavenly, divine melody, while each countenance reflects the image of Jesus, radiating unspeakable glory. Selected Testimonies vol 1 p45
The saints will sing:
I then saw an innumerable army of angels bring glorious crowns with written names from the city, one for each saint. When Jesus asked the angels for crowns, they presented them to Him, and with His own right the lovely Jesus placed them on the heads of the saints. In the same way, the angels brought the harps, and Jesus also presented them to the saints. The leading angels delivered the tone first, and then all the voices were raised in grateful and happy praise, and all the hands slid skilfully over the harp strings, creating melodious music, with abundant and perfect chords. Then I saw Jesus lead the crowd of the redeemed to the city gate. He took hold of the door and turned it on its shining hinges, and sent in the nations that had observed the truth. Early Writings, p. 288.

And John says:
Rev 15: 2 And I saw like a sea of glass mixed with fire; and those who had overcome the beast and its image and the number of its name were standing by the sea of glass, and had harps from God.
Rev 15: 3 And they sang the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and wonderful are your works, O Lord God Almighty; just and true are your ways, O King of centuries.
Rev 15: 4 Who will not fear you, Lord, and glorify your name? For you alone are holy;

And so the saints, those separated from God, will sing true praise to God.

Beloved Ones,
We are on the way to Heavenly Jerusalem, let us do like the people of the past, teach our children the Word of God, and instill in the minds of the little ones and young people stories of love, knowledge and wisdom through monophonic music. And you will teach them to your children and speak of them while seated in your house, and walking along the path, and lying down and getting up. Deut 6: 4-7 Instructs the child in the way he should go; and even when you grow old you will not deviate from it. Proverbs 22: 6
Teach through hymns as solemn and holy as the chant, with the lyrics containing the Word of God to inculcate in the minds of children and youth.
Do you want to enter heavenly Jerusalem with your family and sing with the angels the true and unique song that praises God and plays the harp of beautiful chords and harmony? In gratitude to the One who gave life, light and love?
So let us hear the heavenly hymns, learn and make our home a little piece of heaven where angels will join us in our praises to God perfecting them so that they reach the throne of grace as a sweet scent to the Eternal Father and Jesus Christ our Savior .
Enter this link and listen to the chant in praise of God:

The time has come for us to reform our lives, straighten out your life, the lives of your children, your spouse with love, abandon the customs of this world and be a new creature in Christ Jesus.

Repent, therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that the times of refreshment may come, from the presence of the Lord, Acts 3:19

And Jesus said to him: ...; go away, and sin no more. Joh 8:11

Because, ... you are the chosen generation, the royal priesthood, the holy nation, the acquired people, that you may announce the greatness of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light; 1Pe 2: 9

Joh 1:23 He answered, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as the prophet Isaiah said.

Isa 40: 3 Here is the voice of one crying: Prepare in the desert the way of the Lord; make a road straight for our God in the wilderness.p>

Mar 13:26 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds, with great power and glory.

Beloved, sing praises to the LORD with the harp; with the harp and the singing voice. Psalm 98: 5
