Were the ten commandments strictly given to the Hebrews?

The ten commandments were written by the finger of God and given on stone tablets to Moses 1 . Does this determine that only the Hebrews should obey? Of course not. Anyone who considers such laws to be fair could use it. Not that it would make him Hebrew, but it would show that such a person has the Spirit of God who shows him the best way. Since the ten commandments determine moral concepts, not concepts of national organization.

From the period when Moses received the tablet, to the previous periods, we have that there was a standard for men. So that the law will not kill 2 , it can be seen in the case of Cain and Abel. We see that Cain hid the action he had committed, noting that such a thing was already known to be wrong. Plus Cain knew what death was and feared death 4 .

We can also find the issue of adultery, in what he mentions, that a man should be united with his wife when God has united 5 . But Jesus determines that such a determination predates Moses 6 . We therefore have norms of the principle that Jesus demonstrates to be the important thing. These norms for bridging the gap between principle and modernity are found in the Ten Commandments.

We speak for example of Sabbath, death and adultery, so we have to understand how to know sin. And to know sin it is necessary to know the law 7 . So this law is known from the beginning, as we see such laws in the ten commandments 8 . So that sin can only be known if it is said to be 9 . Thus the law that we find to be the bridge of the norms of the principle, with the mosaic time and beyond it is the ten commandments.

See that the Ten Commandments is so high that it cannot balance with the statutes of Moses for the people. For example, the Ten Commandments says you will not commit adultery, but in the Mosaic laws you could get a divorce letter 6 . Jesus said that such things were not so in the beginning and that a divorce letter could not be given. So the ten commandments are above the laws of Moses since the two together do not balance.

Take, for example, the law of commandments that says you will not kill 10 . But the Mosaic law says eye for eye, tooth for tooth 11 , which is a Hamurabi code. Jesus demonstrates that this Mosaic Law should not be followed, showing that the Law of the Ten Commandments 10 , is above all Mosaic norms, since there are several laws for death in Mosaic Laws 12 . So that the ten commandments 10 , cannot be understood with the Mosaic law 12, this shows that the law of the ten commandments is at a different level from the mosaic law. While the Ten Commandments focuses on a moral view, Mosaic law focuses on a system of political organization. In this way, the Mosaic law has only function for a political organization, extracting the political organization, it loses the sense of the existence of the Mosaic laws.

Therefore, the Ten Commandments are an unfolding closer to the main fundamental concepts 13 . And how about above the Mosaic Law, since the Mosaic Law has repeatedly disobeyed 12 the rules of the Ten Commandments 10 . So we can see that the ten commandments remain, but it is not entirely complete, and a more complete level would be the two fundamentals 13 . And the highest level exposed would be similarity 14 .

In conclusion we have that if the person follows the most fundamental principle, which is the similarity 14 , he automatically follows the two fundamentals 13 , and thus automatically keeps the ten commandments. But the Mosaic law containing the fundamentals of the Hamurabi code11 , will not be really followed by those who keep the fundamentals 14,13,10 . Christ exemplified in practice the understanding of the ten commandments in their foundations, and determined to obey the principles of principle 6 . A person who resembles God 14 does not need the law, not that he does not follow it, he does follow it but on a much more complete level. But when he cannot correctly understand the similarity 14, then you must go to the two fundamentals 13 , but if you do not understand the two fundamentals you have to see the ten commandments 9 . A person who resembles 14 to God does not kill 10 , a person who follows the two fundamentals 13 , also does not kill 10 , so whoever keeps the ten commandments 9 , follows part of what really is 14 . and whoever follows the two fundamentals 13 , follows part of what really is 14 , but follows more than the ten commandments 9 . But it is impossible to follow the two fundamentals 13 , without following the ten commandments 9, and it is impossible to follow principle 14 , without following the two fundamentals 13 , and therefore it is impossible not to follow the ten commandments 9 . When it is said that if the law is written on the heart, the main idea is principle 14 , which does not alter the obedience of other factors in any way 9,13 . We are only expanding the concepts and reaching the principle 14 on which the ten commandments 9 and the two principles 13 were based .
