And even EucalyptusÃpp native to Australia.
The fruit consists of a berry, fleshy, with an irregular surface, about 8 centimeters in diameterà . 1.2.3. - Guava in Cooking
This health source is used in different derived products, such as guavas, sweets, jams, juices, ice creams, salty sauces and sweet and sour.
1.2.4. - What is the best way to consume Guava?
The best way to consume guavas is fresh because it contains a very rich amount of vitamin C, levels of this vitamin 4 to 5 times higher than orange and corresponds to double the concentration of lemon. In 100 grams of national guavas, on average, they have a vitamin C content of 80 milligrams, there are differences in concentrations of different guavas.
The lemon contains about 40g per 100g which corresponds to half the concentration of the white guava.
Guava is a fruit of great nutritional value. It contains vitamins A, B, B2 varied proportion of vitamin B6, but is rich in Vitamin C.
White and yellow guava are richer in vitamin C than red.
They also contain large amounts of vitamins A and B, as well as various minerals, such as calcium, phosphorus, iron, potassium, magnesium and zinc. That is why we advise the consumption of the fruit without processing it, as the processing cooperates with the loss of these valuable nutrients that help in the defense of the human organism.
We see in the Holy Scriptures the following quote: "And God said: Produce the grass land, herbs that give seed, and fruit trees that, according to their species, bear fruit that has their seed in them, on the earth. And so it was Genesis 1:11
"The land, therefore, produced grass, herbs that gave seed according to their species, and trees that gave fruit that had their seed in them, according to their species.
And God saw that it was good. Genesis 1:12
God saw that the fruit that He had made "was good", who am I to alter what God made "good" as food for man's health? Think about it and use the reason for taking care of your body!
1.2.5 - Procedure for the conservation of guavas
To conserve guavas, it is best to sanitize them * and store them in the refrigerator, as they spoil easily. In good condition, guavas are kept for a week in the refrigerator. But if they are kept in the open air, they must be sanitized before consumption.
Avoid letting the fruit stay at the ironing point, we do not recommend consumption in these conditions. Vitamin C is sensitive to heat, light and oxygen. If the guavas are heated and stored, these factors will influence the loss of Vitamin C. When they are not consumed soon, they start to pass due to the oxidizing action of oxygen, sunlight that accelerates ripening and the very air that contaminates the fruits through of bacteria that lodge in the peels, taking advantage of the nutrients contained in the fruits, so the guavas lose their nutritional characteristics and their consumption will not be so much more valuable, so we do not recommend its consumption.
