Sin to death

Rom 6:16 Do you not know that of the one to whom you present yourself as servants to obey him, you are servants of him whom you obey, whether from sin to death, or from obedience to righteousness?

When one sins by conscience, that is, when sin is accepted as correct, then such sin is for death, it is not something that is unknown, it is an option. It is known that it is a sin and it is determined that it should be done.

1Jn 5:16 If anyone sees his brother commit a sin that is not to death, he will ask, and God will give him life for those who do not sin to death. There is sin to death, and for that I do not say to pray.
1Jn 5:17 All injustice is sin; and there is sin that is not for death.

So there is sin to death, and it involves knowing sin and getting out of it. But when leaving sin, one chooses to return to the previous state by conscience, by determination, as if he had not left then such sin becomes death.

2Pe 2:18 For, speaking arrogant words of vanity, in the lusts of the flesh they deceive those who are barely escaping those who live in error with dissolutions;
2Pe 2:19 promising them freedom, when they themselves are slaves to corruption; because of whom a man is overcome, he is made a slave.
2Pe 2:20 Because if, after they have escaped the corruptions of the world by the full knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again involved in them and overcome, their last state has become worse than the first.
2Pe 2:21 For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, knowing it, to deviate from the holy commandment which had been given them.
2Pe 2:22 So this true proverb came upon them; The dog returns to its vomit, and the washed sow revolves again in the mire.

Once knowing the truth with conscience comes out of this truth and can still speak to others who barely managed to enter, deceives them to get out of the truth, then, the conscience's action of accepting the error is the sin for death.

Mar 3:28 Truly I say to you, All sins will be forgiven the children of men, as well as all the blasphemies they utter;
Mar 3:29 but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit, will never have forgiveness, but will be accused of eternal sin.

The term blaspheme is from the Greek which is βλασφημέω - blasphēmeō - blas-fay-meh'-o, which has the radical slander, speak ill. The definite objective is to say that the Holy Spirit is wrong, and the effect of the Holy Spirit is to show the individual's error. If such a person slanders, he is defining that the Holy Spirit is wrong. Such is the so-called sin against the Holy Spirit and it is also the so-called sin to death.

An example, a person learns that God made man and woman, and that marriage is according to the verse.

Gen 2:24 Therefore a man will leave his father and mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh.
Gen_1: 27 So God created man in his image; in the image of God he created him; man and woman created them.

According to the Bible, marriage is between men and women, this is the truth. Anything outside of that is a mistake in relation to creation. So knowing these texts and other texts concerning the subject, an individual continues to go against the truth, so this is a sin against the Holy Spirit and it is a sin to death, since he knows what is correct, and define that even knowing what is written, define that what is right is what he thinks and not what the Holy Spirit who is connected to the word of God says.

We therefore see that the knowledge of the truth and the conscious choice to choose evil defines sin to death.

Heb 6: 4 For it is impossible that those who were once enlightened, and tasted the heavenly gift, and made themselves partakers of the Holy Spirit, 

Heb 6: 5 and tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, 

Heb 6: 6 and then fell, be renewed again for repentance; since, as for them, they are crucifying the Son of God again, and exposing him to reproach.
