Food guide and the film Comida S / ALooking at "Comida S / A" and the Brazilian food guide of 2014, the food guide tries to develop a path that is contrary to the system demonstrated in "Comida S / A". Such a thing could be considered a food revolution. But such factors in practice are difficult to achieve.I produced a video that can be seen on the link. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=13I8gu9zunA
The ideology of managing the path from the ultra-processed to the natural goes against several historical-forming factors, linked to the dominant capitalist system. The large-scale advertising linkage, and the life system of the need to manage capital, causing a reduction in socialization time, generates a factor of public resistance for the new guide.
The factors determined in the film cannot be changed without a real political system. Now it is clear that it is a great point to generate a public idea against ultra-processed foods, but without a public concept linked to political factors, such a change from a more natural life for the population will be just a utopian concept of a dream. We did not live a period of 100 to 200 years ago when bacteria did not have as much resistance and neither did viruses as much natural selection as their specialization. Old microbiological care techniques can generate epidemics. So there is a real need for technology linked to natural cultures. Without favoring a production technology linked not to ultra-processed factors but to natural factors, improving productivity without changing the social and natural characteristics of the food, changing the historical-industrial path of food will be more difficult or impossible. The biggest non-change factor is the cultural factor, generated by advertising and economic policy. Whether corruption or economic power in the hands of a few, these occur due to the cultural factor linked to the formation of opinion by advertising systems. And the change in models of thought not linked to capitalist factors linked to multinationals generates a resistance that generates a drop in stock prices for any policy that does not favor the standard system. And most people do not want to pay the price to leave their "comfort area", we can manage strategies that are linked to the capitalist system but this will not be a real change in the end. It is not even possible to see a real way of changing what exists for a more social model, just looking for a path that analyzed by the historical-cultural factor seems impossible. It cannot be observed that there will be a change in the paradigm of industrial culture and standardized way of thinking. People become more service-oriented to the system, but with mechanization and automation this tends to get worse, as human work becomes unnecessary and so power is concentrated, just as power was concentrated in the hands of Monsanto, others sources concentrate such powers. And so whoever has the food, has the way to order,We can have a beautiful view of the food guide, but the political forms that exist are contrary to the guide, to the point that the impact of the guide compared to the historical-political-industrial system will not be changed, nor is there any forecast that it will be. That is why there is no real struggle against the political system, nor the companies that own capital-power. But as a dream it is always good to dream, and to fight for a dream. There are political points that can make changes, but it involves forces that can be considered negative by the formation of public opinion. The question is will change occur?
