el-i-ō?nas (Ἐλιωνάς, Eliōnás, Ἐλιωναΐ́ς, Eliōnaı́s): The name of two men who had married foreign wives (1 Esdras 9:22, 23), corresponding respectively to ?Elioenai? and ?Eliezer? in Ezr_10:22, Ezr_10:31.

the name of two men in the Apocrypha.
1. (Ε᾿λιωνάς v.r. Ε᾿λιωναϊvς, Vulg. omits.) One of the sons of "Phaisur," who divorced his Gentile wife after the exile (1Es_9:22); evidently the ELIOENAI SEE ELIOENAI (q.v.) of the Hebrews text (Ezr_10:22).
2. (Ε᾿λιωνάς, Vulg. Noneas.) One of the sons of "Annas," who did the same (1Es_9:32); doubtless the ELIEZER SEE ELIEZER (q.v.) of the Hebrews text (Ezr_10:31).
