(Heb. Chasupha', חֲשׂוּפָא, uncovered; Sept. Α᾿σουφά, Α᾿σειφά; Vulg. Harupha), one of the Nethinim whose descendants returned from Babylon with Zerubbabel (Ezr_2:43; Neh_7:46, in which latter passage the name is less correctly Anglicized Hashpha). B.C. ante 536.
