hū?sham (חשׁם, ḥushām, Gen_36:34; חוּשם, ḥūshām, 1Ch_1:45-46, ?alert?): According to the former reference, Husham was one of the kings of Edom, and according to the latter he was ?of the land of the Temanites? and (1Ch_1:35 f) descended from Esau.

(Heb. Chusham', חוּשָׁם, but defectively חֻשָׁםin Gen_36:34-35, hasty; Sept. Α᾿σώμ and Α᾿σόμ), a Temanite, successor of Jobab and predecessor of Bedad among the native princes of Mount Seir before the usurpation of the Edomites (Gen_36:34-35; 1Ch_1:45). B.C. long ante 1093, and probably ante 1618.
