JECONIAH or JEHOIACHIN . Son of Jehoiakim, last but one of Judah's kings. Shortened, by omitting JAH, into CONIAH (Jer_27:20; Jer_22:24). It was virtually Jehovah's declaration of ceasing all connection with him (Hos_9:12).
