Jetur
(Heb. Yeturm', יְטוּר, prob. i.q. טוּר, an inclosure, i.e. nomadic camp; Sept. Ι᾿ετούρ, Ι᾿εττούρ, but Ι᾿τουραῖοι in 1Ch_5:19), one of the twelve sons of Ishmael (Gen_25:15; 1Ch_1:31). B.C. post 2063. His name stands also for his descendants, the Ituroeans (1Ch_5:19), a people living east of the northern Jordan (Luk_3:1), where he appears to have settled. SEE ITURAEA.
