(1) One of the Jewish leaders who accompanied Zerubbabel on the return from Babylon to Judah (1 Esdras 5:8, where it stands for ?Mordecai? of Ezr_2:2 and Neh_7:7).
(2) Another form of Mordecai, the uncle of Esther (Additions to Esther 10:4; 11:2, 12; 12:1, 4 ff; 16:13).
