nō-a-dı̄?a (נועדיה, nō‛adhyāh, ?tryst of Yah?; Νοαδεί, Noadeı́):
(1) Son of Binnui, one of the Levites to whom Ezra entrusted the gold and silver and sacred vessels which he brought up from Babylon (Ezr_8:33); also called MOETH (which see), son of Sabannus (1 Esdras 8:63).
(2) A prophetess associated with Tobiah and Sanballat in opposition to Nehemiah (Neh_6:14).

Noadiah
(Heb. Noadyah', נוֹעִדְיָהmet by Jehovah, from יָעִד; Sept. Νωαδία v. r. Νωαδά), the name of two persons.'
1. A Levite, the son of Binnui, who assisted Meremoth and others in weighing the. precious vessels of the Temple which Ezra brought back to Jerusalem (Ezr_8:33). B.C. cir. 459. of the Jews, endeavored to terrify Nehemiah from the work of building the wall at Jerusalem (Neh_6:14). B.C. cir. 445.
