Paltiel
(Heb. Paltiel', פִּלְטַיאֵל, deliverance of God; Sept. Φαλτιήλ), son of Azzan, and chief man of the tribe of Issachar, one of those appointed to divide the Promised Land among the tribes on their entrance into it (Num_34:26). B.C. 1618. SEE PHALTIEL, which in the Hebrew is the same form.
