SHENAZZAR.See Sheshbazzar.
Hastings' Dictionary of the Bible

shḗ-naz?ar (שׁנאצּר, shen'accar): A son of Jeconiah (Jehoiachin) and uncle of Zerubbabel (1Ch_3:18, Codex Vaticanus and Codex Alexandrinus Σάνεσαρ, Sánesar; Lucian, Σάνασαρ, Sánasar; Vulgate (Jerome's Latin Bible, 390-405 A.D.) Sennaser, Senneser). It is highly probable that Sheshbazzar (Ezr_1:8, Ezr_1:11), ?the prince of Judah,? and Shenazzar are identical (so Meyer, Rothstein, etc.). The name is difficult; some suggest a corruption of שושבלאצר, shūshbalaccar, and as equivalent to Sin-usur, ?Sin (the moon-god) protect.?
