shroud (חרשׁ, ḥōresh, ?bough?): Winding-sheet for the dead. See BURIAL. Used in the King James Version, the English Revised Version Eze_31:3 in the rare old sense of ?shelter,? ?covering.? the American Standard Revised Version has ?a forest-like shade? חרשׁ, ḥōresh, ?wood,? ?wooded height?)
