Si'a. The "children of Sia," were a family of Nethinim, who returned with Zerubbabel. Neh_7:47. The name is written as Siaha in Ezr_2:44, and Sud in 1Es_5:29.

(Heb. Sia, סַיעָא, congregation; Sept. Σιαϊά v.r. Ασουία, etc.), one of the family heads of the Nethinim whose children returned from the captivity with Zerubbabel (Neh_7:47). B.C. ante 536. In the parallel passage (Ezr_2:44) the name is written SIAHA SEE SIAHA (q.v.).
