(Hebrews only in the prolonged form Dodava'hu, דּוֹדָוָהוּ v.r. דֹּדָוָהוּ, beloved of Jehovah; Sept. Δωδία v.r. ᾿Ωδία, Vulg. Dodan), an inhabitant of Mareshah, and father of the Eliezer who predicted the wreck of Jehoshaphat's fleet auxiliary to Ahaziah (2Ch_20:37). B.C. ante 895.
