a-zē?tas (Ἀζητάς, Azētás): The head of a family accompanying Zerubbabel out of captivity (1 Esdras 5:15). Neither Ezra nor Nehemiah gives this name in his list.

Azetas
(Α᾿ζητάς v. r. Α᾿ζηνάν), given (1Es_5:15), in connection with Ceilan, as the name of another man whose descendants (or place whose inhabitants), to the number of 67, returned from the captivity; but the genuine lists (Ezr_2:16; Neh_7:21) have no corresponding names.
