Ben-hanan
(Heb. Ben-Chanan', בֶּןאּחָנָן, son of one gracious; Sept. υἱὸς Α᾿νάν v. r. Φανά), the third named of the four sons of Shimon (? Shammai), of the tribe of Judah (1Ch_4:20). B.C. prob. post 1612. Perhaps the name ought to be translated son of Hanan. SEE BEN-.
