And how is sin that is not for death? Now any sin that occurs without witness to another committing sin, or every sin committed by people who do not profess to be servants of Christ are not sins to death.
A text that reinforces the idea is as follows
The harm thus done to souls that need to be strengthened, refined, ennobled, is often a sin unto death.
They cannot associate these men with the sacred positions they occupy. The ministers, the officers of the church, are all regarded as no better than themselves. Then where is their example? {TSB 145.3}
Damage, therefore, to souls that need to be strengthened, refined, ennobled, is often a sin to death.
They cannot associate these men with the sacred position they occupy. Ministers, church officials, are all considered to be no better than they are. So, where is your example? (TSB 145.3)
Here it says that a man associated with the sacred position and who does not demonstrate with an example the difference between him who is a servant of God, and what is not a servant of God showing that walking with God makes him different, he is sinning to death . He who is not a Christian must observe the servant of God as a hill that neither moves nor changes.
