The king gave orders to all the people, saying, Celebrate the Passover to the LORD your God, as it is written in the book of the covenant.
For such an Easter has never been celebrated since the days of the judges who judged Israel, not in all the days of the kings of Israel, nor of the kings of Judah.
But in the eighteenth year of King Josiah this Passover was celebrated to the Lord in Jerusalem.
And also the diviners, the sorcerers, the teraphim, the idols, and all the abominations that were seen in the land of Judah and in Jerusalem, cut off Josiah, to confirm the words of the law, which were written in the book that the priest Hilquias had found in the house of the LORD.

Now, most of Josiah's actions and everything he did, isn't it written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
Another king of Egypt ascends to the throne at the time of King Josiah, the father of Jehoiakim, and dominates Judah and kills Josiah, the people of Judah establishes Joacaz, brother of Jehoiakim, as king.
2Ki 23:29 and 30
In his day Pharaoh Neco, king of Egypt, went up against the king of Assyria to the Euphrates river; and King Josiah met him; and seeing him, he killed him in Megiddo
And his servants, in a car, took him dead from Megiddo, and brought him to Jerusalem, and buried him in his grave; and the people of the land took Joacaz, son of Josiah, and anointed him, and made him king instead of his father.
Joacaz reigned for a short time, and was arrested and deposed from the throne by the king of Egypt - Pharaoh Neco
2Ki 23: 31-33
Joacaz was twenty-three years old when he began to reign, and he reigned three months in Jerusalem; and it was the name of his mother Hamutal, daughter of Jeremiah, of Libna.
And he did what was evil in the eyes of the Lord, according to all that his parents did.
But Pharaoh Neco had him arrested in Ribla, in the land of Hamate, lest he reign in Jerusalem; and he imposed on the earth a hundred talents of silver and a talent of gold.
Pharaoh changes the name of Eliakim to Jehoiakim and establishes him to the throne and Jeoacaz dies
Pharaoh Neco also made king Eliakim, son of Josiah, in place of his father Josiah, and changed his name to Jeoiaquim; but Joacaz took it with him, and went to Egypt, and died there .
