Some people develop the concept that something sanctified is not defined as holy for everyone. So an individual determined some concepts on the subject which I separated in a pdf file at the link described.

It starts from the principle of analyzing the term " sanctified; because it rested on it " ¹ , analyzing the term (because), well the term because in Hebrew it is the primitive particle (kı̂y -kee) ² , it indicates the relationship between two ideas. But the action of the individual is to declare that the cause and effect has to do with God and not with man. The great question that the individual ignores is that all creation that is of God, in the concept of the week, is linked to man, and not to God.

Let's see, the text " God saw that the light was good " ³ , was the light good for God or good for man? Logically, the construction of the land was for man. The whole relationship of creation had been developed for man, since God would not need these things to live.

Then the individual starts from the concept " sanctify " ⁴ and " order " ⁵ , now "qâdash" ⁴ , is a definition, for example if you say that the wall is red, it is not necessary for me to order that the wall is red, it is red. Thus the individual assumes that it is necessary to have a "tsâvâh" (ordering) 5, for something to be sanctified. Which in itself is totally unreasonable, since if I say that a paper is white, I don't need to order it to be white, it is white.

Such an individual comes to analyze that the first quote of the Sabbath is Exodus 16, possibly it would be the reference of Exodus 16:29 ⁶ , in this verse we have " See, since the Lord gave you the Sabbath " ⁶ , what he ignores is that this quote it does not say when God gave the Sabbath. That is, it was already known that God gave the Sabbath since the commandments were quoted, in Exodus 20: 8 ⁸ . So we have that the Sabbath was not given in the Ten Commandments, the Sabbath is before the Ten Commandments. See that people already knew about the Sabbath.

So we have that the text quotes " See, since the Lord gave you the Sabbath " ⁶ , now saying that the Sabbath had already been given. How was the Sabbath given if you have not yet received the Ten Commandments? We see the verse simple " because Abraham obeyed me and kept my precepts, my commandments, my decrees and my laws " ⁹ , that is when it is said " See, since the Lord gave you the Sabbath " ⁶ , he is talking about something given before , since " Abraham obeyed me and kept my precepts, my commandments, my decrees and my laws " ⁹. So therefore we have the reference of the rules and that in these rules that Abraham already knew we have the Sabbath, because before the ten commandments, it was already shown that the people already knew the Sabbath, " See, since the Lord gave you the Sabbath " ⁶ ,. See for example Exodus 16: 4 says " so that I may prove you whether you are following my law or not. " ¹⁰ , now what law, if the law was given later? Now the law that Abraham knew was referred to, and this was the seventh day. See Exodus 16:23 " Tomorrow is rest, holy Saturday to the Lord; " ¹¹ , now we have rest, Saturday and holy. What is clearly seen in the Genesis connection " God blessed the seventh day and sanctified him, because he rested on him "¹ , the connection is therefore undeniable.

The factors show that Abraham knew the laws, that the Sabbath was known to Israel, and that this is a connection with creation. So that the " holy Sabbath to the Lord; " ¹¹ , exists because God so determined that it was. How to say that something is special, if it is special, there is no need to order it special, if you are already saying it then it is. That way we have wherever the connection is that the Sabbath, or the seventh day of rest, is holy and known long before the Ten Commandments.
