Psalms 43 and 46 - God is our refuge

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in anguish.
For what we will not fear, even if the land changes, and even if the mountains are transported to the middle of the seas.
Even though the waters roar and are troubled, even if the mountains are shaken by their bravery.
There is a river whose currents cheer the city of God, the sanctuary of the abodes of the Most High.
God is in the middle of it; it will not be shaken; God will help you in the morning.
The nations became impotent; the kingdoms moved; he raised his voice and the earth melted.
The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge.
Come, behold the works of the LORD; what desolations he has made on earth!
He brings wars to an end until the end of the earth; he breaks the bow and cuts the spear; he burns the cars on fire.
Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations; I will be exalted on the earth.
The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge.
He sends your light and your truth, that they may guide me and take me to your holy mountain and to your tabernacles.
Then I will go to the altar of God, of the God who is my great joy, and with the harp I will praise you, O God, my God.
Why are you downcast, O my soul? And why do you get upset inside me? Wait on God, for I will yet praise Him. He is salvation and my God.
