Psalms 51 - Erase my iniquities

Have mercy on me, O God, according to your lovingkindness; and according to the multitude of your mercies, erase my transgressions.
Wash me completely from my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.
For I know my transgressions, and my sin is always before me.
I have sinned against you, against you alone, and have done what is evil before your eyes, so that you will be just in your speech and pure in your judgment.
I was born in iniquity, and my mother conceived me in sin.
Behold, you delight in the truth in the depths and in the depths you make me know the wisdom.
Purify me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be more white than snow.
Make me hear joy and joy, so that the bones you have crushed may rejoice.
Hide the face of my sins and erase all my iniquities.
Create a pure heart in me, O God, and renew an unshakable spirit within me.
Do not repulse me from your presence, nor remove your Holy Spirit from me.
Restore me the joy of your salvation and support me in a voluntary spirit.
Then I will teach transgressors your ways, and sinners will be converted to you.
Deliver me from blood crimes, O God, God of my salvation, and my tongue will exalt your righteousness.
Open my lips, Lord, and my mouth will manifest your praises.
For you are not pleased with sacrifices; otherwise, I would give them to you; and you do not like burnt offerings.
Sacrifices pleasing to God are the broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, you will not despise him, O God.
