Psalms 56, 57 and 61 - Trust in God

When fear comes to me, I will trust you.
In God, whose word I exalt, in this God I put my trust and I will fear nothing. What can a mortal do to me?
In God, whose word I praise, in the Lord, whose word I praise,
in this God I put my trust and I will fear nothing. What can man do to me?
The vows I made, I will keep them, O God; I will render thanks to you.
For you have saved my soul from death, yes, you have saved my feet from falling, so that I may walk in the presence of God, in the light of life.
Have mercy on me, O God, have mercy, for in you my soul takes refuge; in the shadow of your wings I shelter myself, until the calamities pass.
I will cry out to the Most High God, to the God who executes everything for me.
Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; and let your glory shine in all the land.
My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and sing praises.
Awake, O my soul! Awake, lyre and harp! I want to wake up the morning.
I will give you thanks among the peoples; I will sing praises to you among the nations.
For your mercy goes up to the heavens, and your faithfulness goes up to the clouds.
Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; and let your glory shine in all the land.
Hear my plea, O God; answer my prayer.
From the ends of the earth I cry out for you, in the breaking of my heart. Take me to the rock that is too high for me;
for you have been a refuge and a strong tower for me.
Watch me in your tabernacle, forever; in the hiding place of your wings, I shelter myself.
For you have heard my vows, O God, and have given me the inheritance of those who fear your name.
Stand before God forever; grant him that goodness and faithfulness preserve him.
So I will chant your name forever, to fulfill my vows day after day.
