Psalms 75 and 77 - In anguish I cried out to the Lord

We glorify you, O God, we give you praise, for your name is near, your wonders declare it.
God is the judge; one slaughter and the other exalts.
But as for me, I will rejoice forever; I will sing praises to God.
I cried out to God with my voice; I raised my voice to God, and he inclined my ears to me.
In the day of my distress I sought the Lord; my hand stretched out at night and did not cease; my soul refused to be comforted.
I remembered God and disturbed me; I complained, and my spirit was faint.
You have supported my watchful eyes; I'm so upset, I can't speak.
At night I recalled my song; I meditated in my heart, and my spirit investigated:
Will you reject the Lord forever and not be favorable again?
Has your kindness ceased forever? Is the promise that came from generation to generation over?
Has God forgotten to have mercy? Or did he end his mercies in his wrath?
And I said: this is my illness; and soon I remembered the years of the right hand of the Most High.
I will then remember the works of the Lord; I will certainly remember your wonders of antiquity.
I will also meditate on all your works and speak of your deeds.
Your way, O God, is in the sanctuary. What god is as great as our God?
You are the God who works wonders; you made your strength known among the peoples.
With your arm you redeemed your people.
The waters have seen you, O God, the waters have seen you, and trembled; the chasms have also been shaken.
Thick clouds broke in water; the skies rumbled; your arrows ran from one place to another.
Your thunder's voice echoed in the air; lightning lit up the world; the earth shook and trembled.
Your way through the sea, and your paths, through the great waters; and your footprints did not know each other.
You led your people like a flock.
