Psalms 91 - The Hideout of the Most High

The one who lives in the hideout of the Most High and rests in the shade of the Almighty
says to the LORD, My refuge and my stronghold, my God, in whom I trust.
For he will free you from the bird's snare and the pernicious plague.
It will cover you with its feathers, and under its wings you will be safe; his truth is shield and buckler. .
You will not be frightened by the night terror, nor by the arrow that flies by day,
neither of the plague that spreads in the darkness, nor of the death that plagues at noon.
A thousand fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; you will not be hit.
Only with your eyes will you behold and see the punishment of the wicked.
For you said, The LORD is my refuge. You have made the Most High your home.
No harm will come to you, no plague will reach your tent.
For he will give orders to your angels about you, to keep you in all your ways.
They will hold you in their hands, lest you stumble over a stone.
You will tread the lion and the asp, you will trample the little lion and the snake at your feet.
Because you have clung to me with love, I will deliver you; I will make him safe, because he knows my name.
He will call on me, and I will answer him; in his distress I will be with him, I will deliver him and glorify him.
I will satiate you with longevity and show you my salvation.
