In the Bible we can see the verse:
The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its waters dried up to prepare the way for the kings who come from the east.
Revelation 16:12
Where was the Euphrates? The Euphrates are born in Turkey, cross Syria and cross Iraq, close to the border of Iran.
Today we see several rumors of war in these regions. The people of these regions are mostly Muslim, and the Muslims are descendants of Abraham.
We read from the verse that the waters of the Euphrates dried up to prepare the way for the kings of the East.
The question would be, the way to what?
They are demon spirits who perform miraculous signs; they go to the kings of the world to gather them together for the battle of the great day of almighty God.
Revelation 16:14
Now the concept of the verse is the meeting for battle, a battle that takes place on the great day of the Lord.
And when is this great day of Almighty God?
We can see the verses:
1Th 5: 1 But, brethren, concerning the times and the seasons, ye need not be written unto you;
1Th 5: 2 For ye know very well that the day of the Lord shall come as a thief in the night.
1Th 5: 3 For when they say, Peace and safety, then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they will not escape at all.
And that day is described:
2Pe 3:10 But the day of the Lord shall come as a thief in the night, when the heavens shall pass away with a great crash, and the elements shall burn away, and the earth, and the works that are therein. will burn.
So why is all this evidence of war taking place that Jesus will come now? No, for the nations will be preparing.
We have the two largest nuclear powers the United States, and Russia with 1600 active warheads each. We have China as an economic power, which in a union decision would ally with Russia. China has an unknown nuclear system, and great technology. In fact a great battle would be the end of the planet.
These events indicate the arrival of the Great Day of the Lord.
The verse says that "the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night," in fact this Cold War is being fomented, prompting each other, until in a moment we do not realize, someone decides to irrationally attack.
And that day will be the day of Almighty God. This is because if such a war occurs, man would come to extinction, it will decree that man has no ability to live for himself, with his own decisions, as it would culminate in his own extermination.
Thus, events increasingly determine that the prophecies are correct.
