We must understand that the Coronavirus is not one of the worst viruses, nor the worst pest. But it is highly transmissible. As the world is a global village, people go from country to country spreading the disease. And as we live with rules to reduce deaths, there is an immense effect on the economy.
But did God create this virus? We can say yes and no. If it is consequently God created, but if it is by acting God did not create. Why why? Because God created all things, therefore, whoever created by acting was created by God, so the consequence of God having created humanity, who created the virus by acting. Humanity was very involved in using animals in different ways, be it direct contact or food. Thus, with direct action, the virus ends up mutating and interacting with the human body.
The same thing is sin, God does not commit sin, but consequently created sin. Had he not created beings, and sin would not have appeared by human action.
Thus, if the man had a more vegetarian diet, because the man does not get virus from a vegetable. Furthermore, if the man took great care of his health, his immune system would be very strong. And in fact, coronavirus causes deaths in individuals with weak immune systems!
Thus, human suffering is not the fault of God, it is the fault of men. God gave life, and we do what we want with it. Some can take care of their health, others can use drugs and destroy their health. Now, this is not God's fault. Pollution is not God's fault. A good reading of the bible and we see that God speaks to do good, not evil.
Tia_4: 17 Therefore, he who knows how to do good and does not do so commits sin.
Thus, God created all things, but man seeks evil, what God says not to seek. God created the high places, now what each one does with that height and responsibility of the society that taught him.
Thus, a bacteria resistant to the misuse of the antibiotic is not the fault of the antibiotic. In fact, we can in real logic say that who created the Coronavirus was human action on the planet, not God.
But God says to everyone:
See here, today I have proposed to you life and good, and death and evil;
For I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments, his statutes, and his judgments, that you may live.
Deuteronomy 30: 15,16
