Genesis 2: 2 Now when the seventh day God finished the work he had done, rested that day from all his work which he had made.
    Genesis 2: 3 And God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it: because on it he rested from all his work which God created and made.
    God sanctified the seventh day from Eden when we have the reference.
    Exodus 20:11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day; therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.
    Referred to in the New Testament in Hebrews 4: 4 is written, because in a certain place he said of the seventh day: And God rested on the seventh day from all his works;
    Everywhere we see the importance of sanctification of the seventh day. The question is: the patriarchs sanctified the seventh day?
    We must analyze what is holy or something one day.
Genesis 2: 3 And God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it: because on it he rested from all his work which God created and made.
The word sanctify is (קָדַשׁ - qâdash - kaw-dash ')
Exodus 29:43 And there I will meet the children of Israel; and the tabernacle shall be sanctified by my glory;
Exodus 29:44 I will sanctify the Tent of Meeting and the altar; I sanctify also both Aaron and his sons, to me as priests.
    Here in these verses we see that God has sanctified the revelation tent. And that made the tent became holy, and this was not common. Thus we see that sanctification of something makes it something holy.
    Jeremiah 1: 5 Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; the nations I appointed you a prophet.
    We see that Jeremiah was sanctified before his birth and so this was holy. Because it was sanctified.
    Ezekiel 36:23 And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the nations, which you have profaned among them; and the nations shall know that I am the Lord, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in their eyes.
    To sanctify something, God determines that such hallowed something must be respected. For all that God sanctifies is holy. That's the great importance of something that is sanctified by God, it is that we should consider holy what God has sanctified.
    So on the seventh day God sanctified and therefore such is holy. However, the seventh day of the week is holy. Santo has always been, since it was created was sanctified. For it is God which sanctifies. And Moses spoke to him to speak for the people, so remember what God has sanctified and said so.
Exodus 20: 8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
Exodus 20: 9 Six days labor and do all thy work:
Exodus 20:10 but the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God ...
    So, should people remember something which is the seventh day was sanctified, so what was sanctified holy is the likeness of God made.
    But if something is sanctified by God such is holy, and as a saint should be considered holy by what is holy. So we have all the patriarchs who knew the sanctification of the seventh day holy considered such a day. So the question is: the patriarchs sanctified the seventh day?
    The answer is: if anyone knows that the seventh day was sanctified, so this day is holy. For a tabernacle is sanctified by God then that is holy. And anyone who knows that such a thing is holy, should regard it as holy. And whosoever does not consider holy what God has sanctified sin.
    John 10:36, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world you say, blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?
    God sanctified to Jesus and so we should respect it is holy because God sanctified.
    So we do not treat Jesus as something normal or common. It is not necessary to know that standards have respect for those who are sanctified and became holy. And what is holy is easy to understand that we must consider holy.
    All the patriarchs knew all that God sanctified needed to be considered holy. No matter what, you must know that it is dedicated to God.
    So God sanctified the seventh day, so the seventh day is holy and also all men who know that God sanctified the seventh day. Hence the term Remember that this day is holy.
    Let's define what is more important that God sanctifies or the man who considers holy? Now, of course the important thing is who sanctifies even if all men do not consider that that or something is holy, but one who sanctifies is greater than all men. Therefore, the seventh day is holy from the Creation, for it is God who sanctified, and all men who hear must consider it holy, from the moment that God sanctified. Independent of human will, for:
Hebrews 4: 3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, If they shall enter into my rest; although the works were finished from the foundation of the world;
Hebrews 4: 4 For in a certain place he said of the seventh day: And God rested on the seventh day from all his works;
    So this sanctification was given much earlier than the quotation of the Ten Commandments, so that there was Hebrew, Moses did not exist, neither people nor races. The earth was at the beginning, to the point that Adam had just come from the Creator. And if sanctified the seventh day at creation, then the Sabbath, really, was made for man.
    Mark 2:27 And he said: The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.
    So we have the sanctification of the seventh day is for man blessing because we in:
    Genesis 2: 3 And God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it: because on it he rested from all his work which God created and made.
(בָּרַךְ - Barak - baw-rak ') This term refers to such day is a blessing, defining the word with the man advantage definition. And the term a healing understatement. Thus we see that this is a blessing to man.
    If one considers that in order to consider something holy needs of man, know this is a lie. For when God sanctifies and blesses know that there is no man in the universe to validate something above God, for there is nothing above God Most High.
