1. What is trend. In its primordial sense, tendency means inclination, a force that determines the movement of a body, propensity.When the wind coming from the right tends the bundle of wheat to the right. He says that the tendency of the wheat bundle is to follow the direction of the wind.
When we drop a stone from a height it tends to follow gravity. He says that the tendency of loose stone from a height is to follow gravity.
This sets the trend.

The apostle gives us the true definition of sin: " Sin is the transgression of the law. " I John 3: 4.DT 90
A person must first convict himself of sin before the sinner feels the desire to go to Christ. . "Sin is breaking the law." 1 John 3: 4. "I would not have known sin, except through the law." Rom. 7: 7. FO 31
John says, "Everyone who practices sin also breaks the law, because sin is the breaking of the law." 1 John 3: 4. Here we have the true definition of sin; he "is breaking the law". FO 117
The sinner, when exhorted to abandon his sins, has the right to ask: What is sin? Those who respect the law of God can answer: Sin is transgression of the law. In confirmation of this the apostle Paul says: I would not know sin, were it not for the law. SEM1 229
God's commandments are wide-ranging and far-reaching; in a nutshell they unfold the whole duty of man. "You will therefore love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength. ... You will love your neighbor as yourself." 12:30 and 31. These words include the length and breadth, the depth and the height of the law of God; for Paul declares, "The fulfillment of the law is love." Rom. 13:10. The only definition of sin, found in the Bible, is: "Sin is the breaking of the law. " 1 John 3: 4. SEM1 320
