Bravery
a term used in the Auth. Vers. only in its early sense offinery for the Heb. תַּפְאֶרֶת, tipe'reth, female ornament, Isa_3:18. So in the Apocrypha (Jdt_10:4) " decked herself bravely" stands for gayly, as a rendering of ἐκαλλωπίσατο, presented a fine appearance.
