Cabbon
(Hebrews Kabbon', כִּבּוֹן, in Syriac, a cake; Sept. Χαββών v. r. Χαβρά and Χαββά), a place in the plain of Judah, mentioned between Eglon and Lahmam (Jos_15:40); possibly the same with MACHBENAH (1Ch_2:49). It is perhaps the modern ruined site el-Kufeir, marked byVan de Velde (Map) at 10 miles south-east of Ashkelon.
