kas?ē̇-ba (Χασεβά, Chasebá): The name of a family of temple-servants in the list of those who returned from Babylon (1 Esdras 5:31). The name is not given in the parallel passages in Ezra and Nehemiah.

Chaseba
(Xασεβά,Vulg. Caseba), a name among the list of the "servants of the Temple" (1Es_5:31), which has nothing corresponding to it in Ezra (2:48) or Nehemiah (7:50), and is probably a mere corruption of that succeeding it GAZERA SEE GAZERA (q.v.).
