Confection
(רֹקִח, ro'kach, Exo_30:35), CONFECTIONARY (רִקָּחָה, rakkachah', 1Sa_8:13), both derived from the root רָקִת(rakach'), to spice, denote respectively perfume and a female perfumer, as the passages cited and the kindred terms derived from the same root (and translated apothecary, perfume, ointment) indicate.
