GE-HARASHIM (valley of craftsmen, 1Ch_4:14, Neh_11:35).In the latter passage it occurs with Lod and Ono. The location of this valley is quite uncertain.

gē-ha-rā?shim (גּא חרשׁים, gē'ḥărāshı̄m): In 1Ch_4:14, the King James Version renders ?valley of Charashim.? In Neh_11:35, English Versions of the Bible renders ?valley of craftsmen?; here it is named with Lod and Ono. Something of the name perhaps survives in Khirbet Hirsa, East of Lydda.
