HABAIAH (J″ [Note: Jahweh.] hath hidden).The head of a priestly family which returned with Zerubbabel, but, being unable to trace their genealogy, were not allowed to serve (Ezr_2:61); called in Neh_7:63 Hobaiah, and in 1Es_5:38 Obdia.
