(Heb. Churay', חוּרִי, Chald. perhaps linen worker, otherwise noble; Sept. Οὐρί, Vulg. Hurai), a native of the valleys (brooks) of Mount Gaash, one of David's heroes (1Ch_11:32); called less correctly in the parallel passage (2Sa_23:30) HIDDAI. B.C. 1046.
