Amasiah
(Hebrew Amasyah', עֲמִסְיָה, burden of [i.e. sustained by] Jehovah; Sept. Α᾿μασίας v. r. Μασαϊvας), the son of Zichri, and chieftain of the tribe of Judah, who volunteered to uphold King Jehoshaphat in his religious efforts, at the head of 200,000 chosen troops (2Ch_17:16), B.C. cir. 910.
