jā?ra (יערה, ya‛rāh, ?honey-comb? (?)): A descendant of King Saul (1Ch_9:42); but the Septuagint's Codices Vaticanus and Alexandrinus, have Ἰαδά, Iadá = יעדּה, ya‛dāh, a name found in Septuagint of 1Ch_8:36, where Massoretic Text has יהועדּה, yehō‛addāh, Jehoaddah. Some Hebrew manuscripts have ya‛dāh in 1Ch_9:42, and it should probably be accepted as the correct reading there, for ya‛dāh = Jehoaddah yehō‛addāh, linguistically; compare Jonathan and Jehonathan, etc.
