MIJAMIN.1. One of those who had married a foreign wife (Ezr_10:25); called in 1Es_9:25 Maelus. 2. Eponym of the 6th of the priestly courses (1Ch_24:9). This family returned with Zerub. (Neh_12:5), and was represented at the sealing of the covenant (Neh_10:7) = Miniamin of Neh_12:17.

(1) One of those who had married foreign wives (Ezr_10:25). He is also called Maelus (1 Esdras 9:26).
(2) The one to whom fell the lot for the 6th priestly course (1Ch_24:9). His family returned with Zerubbabel and Joshua (Neh_12:5).
(3) A signatory of the Covenant (Neh_10:7).
