Nerias
(Νηρίας), the Graecized form (Bar_1:1) of the name of NERIAH SEE NERIAH (q.v.), the father of Seraiah and Baruch (Jer_45:1; Jer_51:59).
Another Nerias or Neriah is mentioned by Josephus (Ant. 10:9, 6), and also by the Jewish record Seder Olam, as a high-priest, son of Uriah and father of Odeas or Hosaiah; but the reference is probably to AZARIAH, 15 (2Ch_31:10). SEE HIGH-PRIEST.
