nı̄?fis (Νειφείς, Neipheı́s, Codex Alexandrinus Φινείς, Phineı́s; the King James Version Nephis): Given in 1 Esdras 5:21 margin as = ?Magbish? of Ezr_2:30, whose sons are the same in number (156) as those of Niphis, but it would seem rather to be the equivalent of Nebo in Ezr_2:29.
