(1) The 6th son of David (1Ch_2:15). Septuagint (Ἄσομ, Āsom) and Vulgate (Jerome's Latin Bible, 390-405 A.D.) suggest that the name should be pointed אצם, 'ācōm.
(2) A ?son? of Jerahmeel (1Ch_2:25).

2. The sixth son of Jesse, and brother of David (1Ch_2:15). B.C. cir. 1100.
