Asibias
(Α᾿σεβίας, comp. Asebia, 1Es_8:48), one of the Israelites who renounced his Gentile wife after the captivity (1Es_9:26); doubtless a corruption for the MALCHIJAH SEE MALCHIJAH (q.v.) of the genuine text (Ezr_10:25).
