(Heb. Tabrimmon, טִבְרַמֹּן, good is Rimmon; Sept. Ταβερεμά v.r. Ταβενραημά; Vulg. Tabrenon), the father of Benhadad I, king of Syria in the reign of Asa (1Ki_15:18). B.C. ante 928. The name is in honor of the Syrian god (comp. the analogous formsTobiel, Tobiah, and the Phoenician Tabaram [Gesenius, Mon. Phoen. p. 456]). SEE RIMMON.
