We currently see several forest fires. The forests of Siberia burning, the forests of Greece to the point where populations have to flee islands, the forests of Turkey on fire, the great forests of Canada being destroyed and even the United States.
Several fires in the world. Months ago, the systematic destruction of the Amazon forest was observed. Forests are systems to conserve water sources. What are water sources? They are the sources of drinking water for living beings. The destruction of these forests causes a reduction in water sources, and generates drought, and consequently a reduction in dissolved vapor in the environment.
On hot days, the environment is hot and dry, and this poses a greater risk of forest fire, as the temperature increases, the risk increases.
In this way, more forests are burning, and more water sources are lost. The more carbon dioxide is released into the atmosphere, the more the greenhouse effect increases, the more the heat increases, the more the temperature increases and the more fires occur.
We are in a vicious cycle of environmental imbalance, deforestation and global warming. And the future does not show that countries are acting in a way to break this cycle. What we see is very slow and denial movements.
When this destruction is generating serious economic crises, then it will be too late to do anything. In fact, we are already on a path of no return to a major ecological crisis.
