Galatians 5 and the commandments

Many people wish to void the law because they do not read Galatians 5 correctly. If we read Galatians 5: 1 to 8, we can see that the text is talking about circumcision. And that they should not be circumcised. For circumcision would not change anything for salvation. Even the verse says that circumcision, or uncircumcision, has no value. But would such an action be just for circumcision?

We can read in First to the Corinthians, 7:19 , which says that, nothing means circumcision, and nothing means uncircumcision. Which is according to Galatians 5, but in Corinthians we have clearly, that the text says that the importance is in obeying the commandments of God. So as we know that the word of God cannot go against itself, so we clearly have Galatians talking about circumcision, but we have to keep God's commandments.

We can also find an example of a commandment, contained in Luke 23:56 , observing the text, we have the women who accompanied Jesus, rested on the Sabbath according to the commandment. So in the book of Luke the concept of the commandments is very clear. So in Galatians we have the definition that circumcision has no meaning, but we have in Corinthians that even circumcision has no meaning, the commandments must be obeyed, and in Luke he quotes one of the commandments. In this case, the weekly Saturday rest.

In Ephesians 6: 2 we can still see the quote of honoring father and mother, which is the first commandment with promise. Defining this as another commandment, which must be obeyed. And referring children to obey their parents. In this way we can clearly see that circumcision is nothing, but the important thing is to obey God's commandments.

What we can easily conclude is that many try to use verses that do not say what they want. For Galatians 5 does not say not to obey the commandments, it says only in relation to circumcision. This we can see clearly, for if Galatians had annulled the commandments, then Corinthians, it would be wrong, which could never happen. So all the verses agree, that circumcision is nothing, but they define the importance of obeying God's commandments.
